The Help You Need for Your Disability Case

Experience, Caring & Respect

I’ve spent over 20 years successfully helping thousands of people with Social Security Disability and SSI claims, as well as VA disability claims before the Veterans Administration. Disability law is all I do, and I provide expertise and respect. I appeal cases at all levels, even going to federal court to argue my clients’ cases. I appreciate all referrals and I even appeal cases for other attorneys, non-attorney representatives, and accredited agents. I have excellent legal assistants who assist me in helping as many disabled people as possible.

Social Security Disability

My staff and I know how to handle the complicated bureaucracy of the Social Security Administration. With over 20 years of experience and success, we’ve helped with all kinds of cases.

Veterans Disability

You served your country and now you have physical or mental issues that you know are related to your time in the service. I especially enjoy appealing veterans’ cases to the federal court. I know how to help.

Why Choose Us

About Me

My office is at in Tulsa, Oklahoma (I’m an Oklahoma native and a proud member of the Cherokee tribe). I’m licensed to practice law and am admitted to appear in many federal courts; I help clients with cases all over the United States. I am a Sustaining Member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR) and a longtime member of the National Organization of Veterans’ Advocates (NOVA) and regularly attend legal education classes to stay up-to-date with changes in disability laws.

Of course, none of the information on this site should be taken as legal advice in a particular case and results are not guaranteed. I’m happy to review your case to see if I think I can help you. I don’t represent you unless we’ve signed paperwork that says so. You pay NO fee up front and I don’t get paid if you don’t get paid (except in certain federal cases in which the government, not you, pays my fee); we’re in the fight together.

Reviews of Lisa’s Latest Disability Book

Richmond Brownson, Esq.

Disability attorney in practice for over 25 years

This book is of great value to Social Security Disability and SSI Law practitioners, including lawyers, non-attorney representatives, and their professional staffs. I found it easy to read and full of important strategies and information.

Janie Jaqueline, EDPNA

Social Security Non-Attorney Representative, Jaqueline Disability LLC

Highly recommended reading. I worked for SSA from 1999 to 2015 and have been representing disability clients since July of 2016. This book flows well and I really like the way the author adds her personal experiences and examples from real life to illustrate her strategies.

Dirk Eshleman, Esq.

Practicing attorney for over 30 years

I can count on one hand, minus four fingers, the legal guides I have reviewed that are both spot-on and relevant and an easy-going pleasure to read. You’re looking at it. Concise, well-organized, and written in a style as casually warm-hearted as it is unfailingly professional, the author explores and presents examples of skill set practices and qualities that serve practitioners well. She has laid the ground work and organized the grunt work with a discerning and focused eye toward enhancing the chances of achieving favorable results in Social Security Disability and SSI cases.

Bernadetta Gilbert, Esq.

Experienced disability attorney

An excellent guidebook for those attorneys just climbing into the ring with SSA, and a great refresher for more experienced practitioners.
